The meaning behind the jersey

 Milan said the 2021-22 season will see the club join shirt sponsor Puma in six cities around the world in Rio de Janeiro, New York, Kolkata and Melbourne Nairobi and Milan set up the Milan Foundation project, and when designing the jersey, the designers combined the geographical Outlines of the six cities into an integral pattern that ran across the shirt, hence the gold shading.

If you look closely, you can find out that the jersey is covered with light gold and beige interwoven diagonal dark stripes, which may be the origin of the official name for the color--- Afterglow.

The away kit integrates an ultralight jacquard structure in the back of the jersey to improve breathability during intense performance. The kit is completed with shorts and socks in the same color as the shirt.
